Children’s Health Foundation

February 25, 2013, London, ONT – For the second consecutive year and to the delight of dozens of children, parents and staff, CertaPro Painters brought their “Painting Smiles” program to Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre.

Art is a wonderful tool that can be used to capture emotion and express and enhance creativity, especially in young children. Each child that participated received a canvas and painting supplies courtesy of CertaPro, In keeping with Valentine’s Day theme, each child was encouraged to paint “something they love”. CertaPro and Bristles®, CertaPro’s fun-loving paintbrush mascot, had the honour of hosting this year’s event. Children’s Health Foundation’s mascot, Dr. Beary Goode, was also present and joined in on the fun.

“I was thrilled with this year’s ‘Painting Smiles’ event. Many people don’t realize that painting is a great activity for kids, allowing them to experiment and express themselves. It also provides an excellent source of personal relaxation and physical therapy, which is something that many of the children in the hospital need,” said Paul Guenette, CertaPro Owner.

“Bristles, was also a huge inspiration for the project—children love him so it was the perfect opportunity to get involved with children who deserve to smile most.”

CertaPro Painters provides a customer-driven extraordinary painting experience that is unparalleled in the industry (both commercial and residential).
